Where in the world is this?
Just to say, this image was taken not too far from the where the image in the last story was taken.
This time I was taking a short cut from the high street to another area and, as I moved up the lane, came across this scene. The whole scene seemed a little incongruous, this for various reasons. Most workers I come across in these situations tend to be “seasoned” labourers and somewhat older than the people in this rather “fresh faced” group. I would also venture to say that these folks, though they look rough and ready and seemed to be attired in much the same manner as their older colleagues, they are all likely to be graduates of one persuasion or other.
That aside, this is another of Hong Kong’s dai pai dongs, a local outdoor eatery. Other than the food, there’s nothing special here, nothing lavish. Just a quick meal and time to move on. Enjoy…
